Greatful Moment

Today I'm Greatful For Inspiration..

Monday, October 26, 2009

I had a pretty good day today. Cole only woke up once last night and Corbyn slept all night I got up around 7 (when Chad left because all boys were up). I had the dishes done and kitchen clean by 8. I have since then, Swept the patio, done all laundry, vacuumed (3 differant times thanks to Corbyn) Babysat Levi, did "some" homework Carsyn wasn't feeling well so I didn't push it. cleaned off the table, got a vinyl order ready to ship, played wii with Carsyn and snuggled with Corbyn.

Not too bad in my opinion.

Look at me, look at me, look at me now!
You could do what I do
If you only knew how.
I study the scriptures one hour each day;
I bake, I upholster, I scrub, and I pray.
I always keep all the commandments completely;
I speak to my little ones gently and sweetly.
I help in their classrooms! I sew all they wear!
I drive them to practice! I cut all their hair!
I memorize names of the General Authorities;
I focus on things to be done by priorities.
I play the piano! I bless with my talents!
My toilets all sparkle! My checkbooks all balance!
Each week every child gets a one-on-one date;
I attend all my meetings (on time! Never late!)
I'm taking a class on the teachings of Paul,
But that is not all! Oh, no. That is not all
I track my bad habits 'til each is abolished;
Our t-shirts are ironed! My toenails are polished!
Our family home evenings are always delightful;
The lessons I give are both fun and insightful.
I do genealogy faithfully, too.
It's easy to do all the things that I do!
I rise each day early, refreshed and awake;
I know all the names of each youth in my stake!
I read to my children! I help all my neighbors!
I bless the community, too, with my labors.
I exercise and I cook menus gourmet;
My visiting teaching is done the first day!
(I also go do it for someone who missed hers.
It's the least I can do for my cherished ward sisters.)
I chart resolutions and check off each goal;
I seek each "lost lamb" on my Primary roll.
I can home-grown produce each summer and fall.
But that is not all! Oh, no. That is not all
I write in my journal! I sing in the choir!
Each day, I write "thank you's" to those I admire.
My sons were all Eagles when they were fourteen!
My kids get straight A's! And their bedrooms are clean!
I have a home business to help make some money;
I always look beautifully groomed for my honey.
I go to the temple at least once a week;
I change the car's tires! I fix the sink's leak!
I grind my own wheat and I bake all our bread;
I have all our meals planned out six months ahead.
I make sure I rotate our two-years' supply;
My shopping for Christmas is done by July!
These things are not hard; It's good if you do them;
You can if you try! Just set goals and pursue them!
It's easy to do all the things that I do!
If you plan and work smart, you can do them all, too!
It's easy!" she said. And then she dropped dead.

DON'T DO IT!

Ok so The candidate for the Nampa Mayoral elections Melissa Sue Robinson, Posted a comment on my blog (on my ctr ring post of all places) Campaigning for her election. I sent her an email letting her know how rude it was for her to use my personal blog for her campaign. It showed me that she has no care for the privacy of the citizens. Because I don't live there anymore I have not been following elections so I don't know. however by her doing this I will ask my friends in Nampa to consider someone who doesn't surf personal blogs for their own gain. Would you appreciate it if someone stuck a sign in your yard with out asking? Or put a bumper sticker on your car with out asking? If I was political and wanted to vote for her I would post something about her.

My New CTR Ring

I havn't had a CTR ring for such a long time. I had a nice one when I was a teenager but I lost it. Then I got a super cute Noahs ark one. I Never wore it because I didn't want to lose it. Well then I wore it to church and lost it and that was nearly 10 years ago. Chad knows that I've been wanting one so on our trip down to St. George he got me one. I got it narrowed down to this one or one that he like a little more. I went with this one because the one that he liked my Sis has the same one and I didn't want to copy her so this is what we picked.

Got Fiber?

So over the last few months Chad nad I have really started eating healthier. He has been running nearly everyday, I do when I feel good, we've been counting calories and eating better... Well Carsyn has really started to pick up on it. Every chance he gets he looks at the calories on the package and tells me what they are and such. Well during our last shopping trip I bought a lot of fruits and veggies and got Carsyn all excited about them. The kids LOVE it. We made a platter with everything on it and just put it in the fridge for them to graze. Well I mentioned to Carsyn once that fruit has lots of fiber and fiber helps you (being blunt here) Poop...Well last night Carsyn is standing in the living room and says out loud...
"Man, I need to go poop because of all the fiber I ate today"

She's at it Again!!!

I've been crafting again :) Oh how I LOVE crafting. Pictured here is: a Recipe Holder, A 9x13 baking dish with our name etched on it for when I take meals to families they will always know it's mine, and then a glass block with the St. George Temple etched on it and lights inside...

Poor little guy

So today Corbyn woke up and looked fine and was playing then around 2:00 I went looking for him and he had fallen asleep in Carsyn's bed. He woke up around 3:00 and started to play. Then I walked by the room and he had fallen alseep on the floor. I woke him up around 4:00 and he had a fever 100.4 so I gave him tylenol layed on the couch and he went back to sleep... He woke up after that and seems perfectly fine tonight. Poor little Guy!

Where did my baby go?

Didn't I just have this little stinker? He is already so big. He is so close to crawling that I'm pretty sure he will be by the end of the week. He trys so hard. Yesterday he was laying on his tummy then all of a sudden he was sitting up. Now he thinks he's pretty good at that. lol. And yes he worked his way into the hamper all by himself. He rolls and scoots everywhere. I love little boys :)

Attempt #2 Cup Cakes

So I mentioned in my last post we did cupcakes this week. The reasoning was because she was teaching us lots of techniques. Our goal is to master the rose as you can see we need a lot of work... My picture is the top one and Chad of course is the bottom.
