Carsyn's School Report.

In Carsyn's history lesson he was to do a report like he was repoting the news. This is what we came up with. We had to mail it to his school.

Corbyn is growing up so fast. Chad and Carsyn always enjoy a nice bike ride together and Chad usually hooks up the bike trailer and drags Corbyn along. Well the tire was flat on the trailer so Corbyn didn't get to go :( He was pretty upset about it. So when they got back from their ride we took Corbyn to walmart and got him is own little bike.
Our kids are SOOOO SPOILED!

I love Saturdays

Saturday is the one day the I force myself to clean. I clean thru out the week but it's just normal everyday day stuff like laundry, dishes. and putting toys away. But on Saturdays I break out cleaning agents, put on my rubber gloves and work at it as much as I can. And don't think I'm wonder women because there are some Saturdays that I just make it look exceptable. My Goal every Saturday is to make the house smell better and clean by the time we go to bed so when we wake up on Sunday Morning I turn on some Sunday music and I'm able to feel the spirit in my home. It helps a lot with reverance at church, and just makes the day peacful.
Cleaning the house can be so full filling. At the end of the day I feel so accomplished. It's uplifting and gives me a sense of self worth. I reccomend it to everyone. Even if you just get 1 room "done" It will motivate you to do more the next week. It helps to get the kids on board as well. Carsyn can do pretty much whatever he wants on Saturday mornings but around 3 or so I start singing the Saturday song and he know's it is time to jump in and get all the toys picked up and his room clean. He loves to sing the song with me as we work together. It's such a simple principle to teach him about keeping the sabbath day. He knows once the toys are put away he doesn't see them again until Monday. I want to Challenge anyone who will accept to pick one room next Saturday and Clean it until you cannot think of anything else to clean in the room. If the item doesn't have a place then do you reall need it? Good luck!

Early mornings.....WHY?

Ok, I'm wondering why kids think that they have to get up at 6am EVERY MORNING! Ohwell I will admitt sometimes it's nice to get up early. It's just that most of the time I stay up so late with Chad and the baby. But the last few days I have gotten up made breakfast, exercised, showered, and started chores before 7:30 It does boost my motivation and does make me feel better. But sometimes it is just so hard to get up. I went to bed last night at 8:30. So this morning when Chad got up at 6am Corbyn was already waking up so I surprised Chad with french toast while he was in the shower (very rare when I make Chad breafast)

Just Married.....

It is so hard to believe that Chad and I have been married for 8 years. When I moved to St. George when I was 18, the last thing I wanted was a relationship But our Heavenly Father had other plans. I was married with in 6 months of moving there. I don't think I could have found a more loving, compassionate friend. He sacrifices so much for our family.
I love him more today then I ever have.

Please forgive me (again)

I have just been so tired lately. Our trip to Idaho just took a lot out of me. I know I need to post something and I will try super hard to do it this week. I've just been so tired. and every time I sit at the computer in the afternoon it isn't long before either Cole starts crying, Corbyn wants something, or Carsyn wants me to play with him. And then I try to get them in bed by 8pm but that usually doesn't happen and of course Cole doesn't go to bed at 8pm. And on top of being just literally exhausted I have a soar throat (don't worry it's not swine flu lol) I have a really bad canker soar in my throat of all places. and holy cow does it hurt.
Anyway I will get something posted. I have lots to talk about. Our trip to ID, Corbyn turned 2, my new fun thing I bought myself, a pic or 2 of Cole and how big he is. So please check back in a few days.
Have a good night.

Apparently we were tired!

Ok, here is the story. It was about 10:45pm and Chad had to run into work to talk with an overnight cashier. Right when he left Corbyn had woke up and was pretty upset so he came and got in my lap. As soon as he did then Cole woke up and also wanted my lap. When Chad got home about 11:30 this is what he found.

Is there such thing as "Normalcy"

Well, I wish I could say things are finally starting to get to a point of normalcy but I've come to the conclusion that normalcy doesn't exist. We got back from Idaho with the baby and started to find a "normal" Then we got ready for the blessing weekend We had company all weekend which was great fun. We got Cole blessed and had a fun lunch before everyone had to head home. So then trying to get into a routine and find another normalcy I had to start working super dooper hard to get lots of fun crafting projects ready for the Ham Radio convention. I've been sewing making blankets and burp rags (one of which I made for Katy and her new baby), cute little head bands with a crocheted flower, vinyl tiles, crocheted baby hats with matching booties and what ever else I can think of to make and try to sell. And then hopefully I will be done this week but then instead of being able to settle down we are going back to Idaho...I just can't wait to take that 10 hour drive with 3 kids again.....(sense the sarcasm) but then hopefully we can really start to settle down a little but. we will be almost done with Carsyn's 1st grade schooling. As for our housing situation! Oh what fun it is. The house didn't sell so we took it off the market. We had a renter move in and we thought "wonderful, a great stress has been lifted" but then 2 weeks later the husband lost his job and had to move out to go back to CA. SO they left so now we're telling ourselves again "if this is where we're supposed to be the house will get rented" However, if it is still empty May31st Chad will move the boys and I back to Idaho while he either stays until Oct to try and help his promotion or he will get a transfer exception in the works. So please keep us in your prayers. We need to stay here for Chads job but we certainly cannot afford a mortgage and rent.
Maybe by the end of June I will have a lot less stress and can find what could be considered "Normalcy"
