I got new fishys

You may have noticed something fun..:) I decided to start a "greatful moment" I'm going to try everyday to post 1 thing I'm greatful for. instead of putting it as a regular thread pushing everything else down it will stay on the top. I hope you enjoy.

Greatful Moment

Today I'm greatful for good Friends and good Neighbors.

Hotel Life

On Sunday morning Chad told our land lord that we can't stay at the apt. So our land lord jumped on the phone and got us a hotel. And I must say, He did a pretty good job :) We will be here until Thursday morning, unless they don't get the new carpet down. Jeff asked his Boss if we could use their car hauler trailer for a few days so we put all of our stuff in there. SO we will just be hangin out. Its kind of strange to think "I have nothing to do today." I can't do laundry, dishes, clean, etc... I might go to the library and walmart to kill time and then we might go swimming. I feel horrible thinking that today seems to be so waisted, but I need to get over my self and enjoy the forced vacation/break.

After math of the flood.

Ok. So today I had all the windows open, the fans going, the doors open but the whole house stinks like mildew/mold/must It's so bad in the 2 bedrooms that we moved Carsyn into Corbyns and Coles room. His room didn't get wet so it smells fine. Chad and I will be sleeping in the living room. Our Landlord is Usually here on Sundays so we're going to ask him how long he thinks it will be before something happens. We're thinking about asking about a hotel or something. It's so bad here.

Anybody Wanna Go Swimming?

Yep this is my living room thanks to a big storm that moved through and a storm drain that apparently doesn't drain fast enough. This is how high the water was when I decided to put the camera away. It came in a few more feet before it stopped. I didn't take a pic of my bedroom but my closet and Carsyn's closet looked about the same. The water nearly reached our bed. My good neighbor went and got a shop vac and helped me vacuum up the lake so it could some what start to dry. My land lord isn't a happy camper. His office had about a foot of water lol. I don't think anything got really damaged in our apt. the only thing that got wet was the tv stand feet, the bottom of carsyns toy rack, and some shoes

Camping Trip

Ok so our Camping trip didn't quite go as planned. We had a great time though. We wanted to leave here Monday night after Chad got off (7pm) But I got so busy during the afternoon that we weren't quite ready to go. So on Tuesday we planned to leave in the morning but we kind of played it lazy and didn't get out of here until noon. So we get up there and we had a pretty good time just sitting around. Then the evening came It took me a while to get the younger boys to sleep but after that battle I went out and sat by the fire with Chad. Thn Chad and I "tired" to go to bed lol...Corbyn had a rough night so between Cole and Corbyn we probably only got 1 hour of sleep. It was still dark out when Chad said "I think it's morning" I asked him why he thought that. and he replies " I can hear the birds waking up" Sure enough morning was here. So since Chad is such a sweet heart he got up with Cole and let me sleep. So then we just sat around all afternoon. We drove a trail in the truck. Cole was pretty mad all day because apparently I have to bring my rocking chair and I didn't. So that evening we were getting dinner ready in the dutch oven and we saw some dark clouds to the East. but it looked like they were going to miss us like they did the night before. We started to wonder if we should just head home a night early because Corbyn had had such a rough night. And our tent we know for a fact doesn't hold out water. So we decided to go ahead and pack up and then leave after dinner. Well then we heard Thunder and the winds changed so we rushed and got everything in the truck and just as we started falling the tent it started raing pretty hard. So we just threw it in and headed out. We had all of us including the dog in the front of Chads little pickup. When we got home we put the dutch oven in the oven to warm it back up lol. Then we watched episodes of the Office. It was a great few days off.

The Boys and Their Bears

The boys have always loved their Build a Bears. It started when Chad and I got Carsyn one just because he is spoiled. Then when Corbyn was born, Carsyn wanted to build him one, and the same with Cole. They sleep with them and play with them. It truly is fun and I'm glad that we're able to do this for our boys.
